Professor Pham Receives Two Honors

Professor and Associate Dean for Faculty Research and Development Huyen Pham was recently named a 2021 Chancellor's EDGES Fellow and received an Association of Former Students (AFS) Distinguished Achievement award.

Pham was one of thirteen distinguished faculty members from across Texas A&M University to be honored as 2021 Chancellor’s Enhancing Development and Generating Excellence in Scholarship (EDGES) Fellows.

The recognition highlights The Texas A&M System’s focus on supporting, retaining and recognizing faculty with significant and sustained accomplishments and the promise of continued high-impact scholarship.

The AFS Distinguished Achievement Award is a college-level award that honors outstanding faculty members for their dedication to teaching and recognizes those individuals whose command of their respective discipline, teaching methodologies, pervasive caring, communication skills, and commitment to the learning process exemplify the meaning of teacher/mentor in its highest sense.
