Texas A&M School of Law's advocacy program is pleased to announce that moot and mock court teams have advanced to the national finals in March.

The moot court team of 3Ls Destin Germany and Arielle Williams placed second in January at the Southwest Regional competition of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Competition. The team also placed second in 2020. The team is coached by Nikki Chriesman-Green.

Texas A&M Law's mock trial team of 2Ls Herschel Bowens, Tiffany Daniels, Kobe Landry and Alicia Moore placed second at the Southwest Regional competition of the BLSA Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial Competition.  The team is coached by Doug Greene.

"Due to the early date of this competition in the semester, the students had to sacrifice a large amount of their holiday break to prepare for the competition. However, their hard work paid off!" says Jennifer Ellis, director of advocacy programs.
