Texas A&M Law Students Place In Mock Trial Competitions

Multiple Texas A&M Law students placed in national mock trial competitions.  

2L Victoria Miller won the Best Advocate Award at the MLK National Civil Rights Mock Trial Competition held in Sacramento. Teammates included 3L Max Ward, 2L Chelsea Chapa, and 2L Tim Stafford. The team was coached by David Patin (’10) and Justice Lee Gabriel.

3L Angelika Anderson, 3L Abrielle Perry, and 2L Mirna Rodriquez are the Negotiation Champions of the FINRA Dispute Resolution Triathlon held remotely and sponsored by FINRA and St John’s School of Law. The team was coached by Kay Elliott.
 
3L Matthew Perez-McCurdy, 3L Nina Scheffler, 3L Jaylon Wesley, and 2L Derek Hudiburg placed 3rd (out of 28 teams) at the National Criminal Mock Trial Competition held in San Francisco. The team was coached by Matthew Jackson (’13).
