Fourth Annual Alumni Legacy Awards Recipients Announced

The Alumni Board of Directors of Texas A&M Law has announced the seven recipients of the fourth annual Alumni Legacy Awards. This year’s awards reception will be held on Saturday, October 12, at the Sheraton Fort Worth Downtown Hotel at 6:00 p.m. 

Given by the Texas A&M Law Alumni Board of Directors, the awards recognize outstanding law school alumni as well as their individual achievements, contributions to their professions, service to their communities, and loyalty to the law school.  

“The Alumni Board of Directors is ecstatic to announce our well-deserving 2024 recipients,” said Derek McKee ’16, ’19, president of the Texas A&M Law Alumni Board of Directors. “It is one of our greatest honors to recognize our outstanding alumni for their incredible accomplishments, both in the practice of law and in our communities at large.”   

This year’s recipients are:

Outstanding Legal Masters Alumni Award 
Dr. John Harrison Watts ’20 
Professor of Business Administration, Our Lady of the Lake University

Former Mayor, City of Fort Worth
