Texas A&M School of Law welcomed the deans of law schools in the Southeastern Conference. The SEC Law School Deans "Roundup" was held February 15-17 and provided a forum for the deans to collaborate and discuss pressing topics surrounding law schools, legal education, and the legal profession.

"It's an honor for the law school to host deans from our fellow SEC law schools," said Dean Robert B. Ahdieh. "As colleagues and leaders of our respective institutions, our ongoing collaboration is significant and seeks to move legal education forward in one of the most dynamic regions in the country."

Event attendees included deans Alena Allen from Louisiana State University, Bill Brewbaker from the University of Alabama, Lonnie Brown from the University of Tennessee, Mary Davis from the University of Kentucky, Chris Guthrie from Vanderbilt University, William Hubbard from the University of South Carolina, Paul Litton from the University of Missouri, Cyndi Nance from the University of Arkansas, Bo Rutledge from the University of Georgia, and Frederick Slabach from the University of Mississippi.
